"Chatham Hall fosters a close knit community for students seeking out a personalized education. Class sizes are small, allowing more opportunity to interact with the faculty, as well as classmates. My favorite thing about Chatham Hall is how I have been preparing for college since I stepped on campus. Without pressuring me, my teachers, counselors, and advisors always made it very clear that I should be thinking about the big picture when making decisions about classes and extracurricular activities. Thanks to all of the adults at school, I went into the college process feeling confident and practically stress free."

"Chatham Hall is an academically rigorous school and the teachers are there to ensure that you succeed. I was initially worried about going to an all-girls school, but it was one of the best decisions I could have made. As a student I never felt judged and was always free to be myself. There is a wide variety of people at Chatham, so you are pretty much guaranteed to find people you will get along with. The girls I met at Chatham are my best friends and they are people I know I can always rely on. On the downside, Chatham isn't great at sports. We are traditionally very good at riding, good at soccer and tennis, and bad at everything else. Also, students at Chatham are very busy. It is possible to make free time, but a lot of time is spent working. Going to Chatham made the transition to college incredibly easy. I had no problem adjusting to college life. I firmly believe that Chatham Hall played a key role in shaping me into the woman I am proud to be today."

"At Chatham Hall, thoughtful, intelligent, engaged, and kind girls can thrive amongst each other. The teachers care deeply about their students, and there is an increasing amount of dialogue between students and the administration, which will be excellent for the future of the school. Alums are committed to engaging with students and future alums, and Chatham Hall boasts a strong alumnae network of women leaders. People genuinely care about each other and the world here. The future is bright for Chatham Hall, and for the girls who graduate from this institution. Chatham Hall has offered me so many opportunities that I would not have had at home, and for that I will always be grateful. The incredible friends I have made here will undoubtedly be shaping our future world."

"The overall attitude at Chatham is overwhelmingly positive. My teachers legitimately want to help me succeed. Although it is a competitive college prep school, there is no sense of competition between students. The school does not rank students or tell us our quartiles. Between our Academic Skills teacher, our peer tutoring program, and the enthusiasm our teachers have for the subjects they teach, every student is able to at the support they need to excel in any subject. Our long lived traditions define the community. From the Honor Code to White Flag, integrity, respect, and honor are instilled in students."

"Chatham Hall has been my home away from home for two years. From the moment I stepped on campus, I was surrounded by a welcoming community filled with girls with whom I could relate and from whom I could learn. I love that my teachers represent so much more than their job descriptions. For example, my advisor has been my number one motivator because regardless of how much work I may have to do or what social dilemmas I may be facing, I can always go to her room--whether we have an appointment or not--and she helps me to rationalize and see the bigger picture. I never leave a conversation with her feeling unsatisfied or misunderstood. Through her positivity, I have learned to spread helpful energy to my peers. I find myself telling my friends how thankful I am for them because before I came to Chatham Hall, I rarely told my friends that I love them or I'm here for them if they need me. My school has taught me the importance of being a servant leader and putting into the community what I would like to have returned to me."
