"I liked being able to express my faith at this school, I also love the people and the family community that surrounds it. I did not enjoy the small size of the school and I did not enjoy how strict it was with it's students."

"The small atmosphere really makes it easy to get to know your teachers, your classmates, and all of the students enrolled. Parkersburg Catholic High School is grades 7-12, which means 11 year olds are in the same school with 18 year olds. It is interesting to see how students mature and progress in their schoolwork. The teachers all really want all of their students to succeed. I enjoy this school, and am very happy with my decision to attend a Catholic high school."

"The teachers are overall fairly helpful and knowledgeable, but the classes lack rigor. The school is going downhill with the management, however. Not a welcoming environment for students, and definitely not a liberal one. Not recommended for people new to the area, as this school has been known to exclude newcomers. Very political as far as the parents and administrators go, but high parental involvement (not always a good thing). Not a wide variety of clubs/activities either."

"This school is very sheltered in their political and cultural views, and it is very hard to find genuine friendships among this. Being a small school is one thing, but this school seems to feed off of gossip tremendously. As far as the academics go, they are not bad for the area, but require little challenge overall."

"The work given is based more on memorization. I have found I have not learned much, but I am able to pass with high grades."
