"I would like to see the teachers change with the way they do their school work. I have had an overall great experience at Wirt county high school. The teachers are nice and do a lot of hands on work. we have a lot of fun programs you can join, and amazing opportunities that come around. I got to go to girls state because my school was offering young girls the chance to go."

"I love the atmosphere here at Wirt County. Since it is such a small school, everyone knows each other by their names. It makes making friends and getting along much easier. With the classes being small, you also get a lot of one on one attention when necessary. We are all very close and have basically known each other since we started going to the school. Most of the teachers are also very concerned about whether their students learn or not. They are almost always willing to go that extra mile to make sure everyone gets what they need out of each class. The only change I would make in our school is to include more classes that focus on our lives as adults, such as writing checks and paying taxes."

"This school should be violated for embezzlement! I was to pay a kid $8 for a can of nuts and the money is missing! Poor choice of a secretary!!"

"This place makes Edison look like an amusement park. I would recommend Edison over here. Even South is more desirable...I know a kid where his money is missing for the FFA nut and fruit sales."

"My experience with Wirt County High School has been fairly okay. It is a very safe school. It helps that it is in a small town. I've enjoyed the people I've been with. I find some issues when looking at the academics available. The Music Program is also falling through and needs some help."
