"It was a very good school with friendly teachers and staff. There were lots of activities available like clubs and special events. Attending the school was a great experience, although the building itself could be renovated, as it is an older building."

"High Point Central has been an important part of my life from both an academic and a social stand point. I have become a better person because of the relationships I have with all of my past and current teachers. Even teachers that haven't taught me have helped me along my journey. I wouldn't want to go to school anywhere else because I don't think that the level of care for their students can be matched anywhere else."

"As an IB student my experience at High Point Central has been awesome. My freshman year most of the students knew each other. But as time went on I got to know more people. One thing I can say about High Point Central is that its IB program is close-knit. Once you get to 11th grade you have all your classes with the same people. Those same people become some of your closest friends. I would recommend students being in the essentials IB Program because it itself is its own community. You are surrounded by like-minded people with the same goals all learning the same things. We all help each other out and able to tackle tasks together yet gaining more knowledge. A students time at central is what you make it ant it's not made for you if you are able to get out of the classroom and do stuff around the school you will feel a part of the community and also gained important life experiences and so much fun and people that you will will remember for a lifetime."

"It is true what alumni and former students of High Point Central always say, "Once a bison, always a bison". This school is without a doubt, the best decision for me to attend, not only for my academics, but gives me the best opportunity to benefit from it's diversity. People come for the sports, International Baccalaureate program, Arts and Theater, and much more. Never had I given thought of transferring, because it feels like home. I've had great pleasure to learn of many backgrounds, which has helped my character and the perspective of what other go through in their day to day life. Great school with a great faculty and staff who are always there to make sure the students acquire a great learning environment."

"Some nice and down-to-earth teachers there to somewhat help ease the burden of thousands of essays, homework, note cards, and tests/quizzes with less than a week to prepare. All in all it's not that bad."
