"A really great school for many who attend. Such a great choice if intending on continuing education. I am going to miss the faculty and staff who worked with me through my journey at the school. A fantastic opportunity and school."

"I think Stanly Early College is an excellent school to go to and it has offers many opportunities for students. Not only will students graduate with a high school diploma but the will also graduate with 2 years of college. This is a very good thing because students get to experience what it is like to be in college and they can get used to setting their own pace in doing their own work than if it was a traditional high school. I think it is also a great program because it gives you a chance to meet new people and it is also a very diverse student group."

"My overall experience at Stanly Early College has been life changing. I needed material that would challenge my intelligence and I got exactly that at SEC. Attending SEC gave me the opportunity to take college course. I was in classes with people that were 3 to 5 years older than me and it has really helped prepared me to go off to college. I know what to expect plus some at college all thanks to SEC. A school that encourages you to be yourself and gives opportunities that no other schools offers."

"The school lacks organization and has zero opportunities for students to become well-rounded young adults. Student-teacher relationships are borderline horrific. Most of us feel we are looked down on if we do not understand something. There are rude teachers who seem to be indifferent if a student is failing. A student should never be having trouble in his high school classes and succeeding tremendously in his college classes. We spend hours of the school day doing nothing, when there are classes available to us. Students leave SEC confused of what their futures look like and unaware of their options. We are told we were chosen because of our excellence and maturity. I cannot name a time where I felt they truly believed this. To me, it would be much easier to shut down the program and let children get the education they deserve. The administration does not take any pressing issues seriously and seems to think that being silent and simply being present is a student's only obligation."
