"A lot of people that I know moved nearby just so they could go to this school. It has a local reputation for being one of the best public schools around, and it certainly lives up to that reputation. A lot of the schools around us are jealous at what Hough is and its general prestige. Overall just a great experience."

"Hough is an amazing school with lots to offer its students, ranging from classes, to clubs and activities, to fun events like pep rallies, dodgeball tournaments, homecoming dances, etc., to many helpful faculty and staff members who truly care about you and your success. Hough gives you a great sense of community and culture, where diversity is prevalent and is acknowledged. Hough has offered me many valuable experiences and given me many opportunities/opened many doors to my future."

"I like the teachers at my school and feel that overall I am getting a good education, but the people at my school can be kind of pretentious which is off putting."

"Being at Hough high school for almost 4 years has been a challenge. Hough teachers push students to their full potential and better prepare students for college. Hough is fairly large and slightly over crowded. This high school offers a variety of sports which is competitive and different clubs and organizations. Faculty keeps the school in order and does not tolerate disrespect or any form of violence. Skipping school is common for most students and faculty has taken new precautions to prevent this and keep students in a learning environment.Overall, Hough High School is a great high school that I have enjoyed for the past 4 years."

"I really like Hough High School because of the people I met and the teachers that they have. However, Hough is very overcrowded, therefore, it can be a hassle to get from class to class. Also, they need a bigger student lot because there is not enough spaces for the amount of students they have enrolled in the school."
