"I loved that Scotland gave me the opportunity to explore my interests. I was able to enroll in art classes as well as join the National Honor Society. This school has a large selection of electives that will allow any student to explore their likes and dislikes."

"I liked the diversity of the school and how well everyone comes together when needed despite our differences. However there could be more community involvement and hands on activities and resources in the school that really prepare students and make them want to learn."

"Scotland high school offered me the tools I needed to become a successful student once I entered college while also providing much needed guidance when applying to colleges. The faculty and staff all seem to greatly care about and appreciate their students and their success in and beyond the classroom."

"Scotland High School may not be leading in academics, but the teachers genuinely care about every student that walks into their classroom, and worked with the limited resources that were available. Teachers encouraged college education and often helped students to apply to college, as well as, for scholarships to increase the number of students who felt they were able to receive a college education in an area where income is very low for many families. As a school in a low income area resources were limited and teachers often helped make sure there were supplies and books for the students with their own finances."

"What I loved about Scotland High School is that there are a lot of teachers that actually care and they actually want to see you succeed. One on the downfalls of this high school is that it isn't that clean and the cafeteria food isn't very good. Some of the students make it hard for others to learn."
