"I like how the school is diverse and equal opportunities for all students and the thing I would like to see change is how certain procedures are carried out around the school involving your devices."

"I had a pretty good experience in high school. I wasn't very popular but that never seemed to matter like how people think it really is. I was quit but I was friendly with everyone though and vise versa. All of my teacher were great. My favorite though would have to me my German teacher Mrs. Lingman she was amazing and so sweet. I loved her class so much that it was the only class I took honors in. It was so cool to be able to learn about such an interesting culture. If I could change one thing about new bern high school it would probably be for them to be more open to personality. For example things like piercings and hair color I do not believe are a distraction in the classroom. Also I believe they need more clubs like maybe car club or singing other than chorus. Maybe even a early cosmetology course or group since that was my career choice but I know I alot of other high schools do early college courses like that."

"For the most part New Bern was a good school. Plenty of activities and clubs for the students to be apart of and most of the teachers seemed to really care about the students. Towards my final year it seemed that we begin to lose alot of individuality among students based on rules we weren't alowes to express our selves as much and before. This was mostly due to new administration that has sent moved on."

"I have enjoyed my 4 years of education through NBHS. I have met and connected with a variety of people. With such diverse student body, it is impossible to not make any friends. I am happy to say that I attended NBHS and be able to look back on all of the high school memories I have created."
