"My experience in West Caldwell High School was filled with growth, caring, and challenges that forced me to pursue my goals. As an exchange student, WCHS has welcomed me very well which made my experience in another country worthy. In the beginning, I had a fixed image of American high schools where students were divided into different social groups of friends, such as the football players, cheerleaders, nerds, and popular kids, and I was concerned that I wouldn't fit in any of them. Although I noticed these groups of friends throughout the school, I found people who accepted my cultural differences. AFS club also helped me and other students to share one another cultural difference. There are professors who truly care about your success and could become your mentor in and out of the classroom. There is a wide variety of courses that could be chosen according to your personal preferences and can lead the path to your future college and career. In general, WCHS is worth the experience."
