"When I first started attending Columbia High School I was excited because I was a freshman. Freshman year was a blast and overall I enjoyed it. Sophomore year is when we began wearing uniforms, this upset me a little because it took away our ways to express ourselves. Junior year I realized I was one step closer to graduation and that's when classes began to get harder and challenging, fortunately I made it out just fine. Senior year was the most challenging , It came with new staff and as with every year new students. Somethin was different about this new group of students , they we very problematic and loved to cause problems. Senior year wasn't as good for me because I felt as though the school was slowly falling apart but I made it out. Now I am an alumni of Columbia High School."

"I still attend, as I am a senior. One of the key things I want to see is money poured into the arts program, being that it is limited. I especially want to see more money poured into the STEM cell program, being that those careers are running the world. Underfunding is a big issue, in my opinion, because it doesn't allow for certain students to really develop, in a sense. There may kids who want to be engineers, but the pathway, for program, for that student to become an engineer isn't offered. And if it IS offered, the program is weak."

"Columbia is not a terrible school but over the years the academics and the administration staff has gone completely own hill. The school is starved of resources like other neighboring schools in the district and many students come to school with the "I just don't care attitude". Despite all the drama that goes on, there are a few good children who act like young adults and are actually trying to make something out of themselves."

"I barely see parents involved unless its at a football game or coming to the school for a conference. Other than that , there is little to very few parent involvement."
