"Dalton High offers the best and most rigorous academic opportunities in the area. The teachers are lively and are always eager to help. As a student myself, I can say though that the school lacks a certain atmosphere. Student involvement is minimal when seen in the context of a total of 2,000 students, but that is something we are hoping to see change."

"Overall it's a decent school. The school has a big problem with overcrowding which makes it difficult to get around the school. I wish the school would be more involved with all students not just specific students and I wish the updates with the school was quicker"

"DHS is the best choice for a Whitfield could ty high school. Compared to the other high schools in the area it provides great academic growth and opportunities, an excellent athletic department, and a funding for the arts that allows for artistic ability of all kind to flourish. The staff is encouraging and will push you to your limits to see you become the best person you can be. Despite the construction throughout the 2016-2017 year, none of the work that was done hindered me from learning, for which the unmatched administrators deserve a standing ovation. As I progress into my senior year, I can say that overall, Dalton High School? has allowed me to study in depth what I truly loved and has made the college application process all the easier."

"I liked the years I attended this school. Lately we have been under construction and it's made it a bit frustrating, but the school and staff have been helpful on maintaining the normal school day."

"I liked the teaching environment and the student body. The building is not at its best, and there are times when school is not good, but I overall have had a good experience."
