"School is well managed and well kept up. Teachers are for the most part kind and very informative. Courses are often challenging and engaging, students learn quite a bit from the both teachers and standards. School spirit and moral is actually quite high as most of the students and staff regularly participate in extracurricular activities and/or school sports teams. School resources are a bit lax as many departments don't have enough funds to supply students and staff with necessary technology to extend learning to the best it can be; however there are computer labs ready and able to aide both students and staff in their academic and teaching capabilities. Our school library is also equipped with many computers and books available to all students and staff. Our school is a safe and comforting environment with many opportunities for students to grow, learn, and succeed. It is one of the best in the school system!"

"The only problem is that Dual Enrollment students are not aware of what is going on on-campus unless specifically asked about."

"Jones county has a wonderful staff that pushes for academic success and enrollment in college. The system also has a great athletic departmentAs a former student and current college student, I would have to say JCHS gave me a pretty good educational foundation. I felt I was very prepared in Math and History/Econ. On the other hand I was very far behind the curve in Literature and Science, compared to my peers. But High School is not all about the classroom. I felt JCHS offered a wide variety of extracurricular activities that were fairly easy to get involved with. As a whole this is a Great School compared to The Twiggs, Bibb, Wilkinson, and Jasper School Districts."

"Awesome school filled with extra curricular and diversity! Sports & clubs are fun and very active! All of the teachers are nice and ready to help students at any given time. There is always positivity and always lots of pumped up school spirit! Greyhound Pride all the way! The community is always involved with our students, donating their time, love, and wisdom. Football Friday nights are a must go to with the players, band, and aulixilary team cheering us on! Parents are informed and typically involved in student activities."

"Well, I attend a separate campus from the main one and I've got to say, the main campus is definitely better than the 9th grade academy. The installations are awful, the place isn't clean most of the time, and other things. And really only the smarter kids get to ever go on field trips and such. I'm waiting to get to the main campus..."
