"The students are very ill-mannered. A lot of them have behavioral issues and do not come to class prepared to learn. The redeeming qualities of the school are its performing arts program and JROTC. The teachers want to teach but often the students will not listen. If you are going to send your child to Dougherty High then make sure they are put into Honors classes. Honors classes are usually smaller and stricter, as a result, your child will have a better chance at learning."

"The staff, administration, and teachers all play the game of favorites a lot of students at that school gets away with a lot of stuff like skipping or fighting. The only way your child can survive here is if you friend works at the school and they don't care about education just money we do learn but not really because the teachers always has to stop I do not recommend this school"

"My freshman year was the best , once we recieved a new principal , that started our downfall. Technology is taking over , technology is destroying the mind , it makes school to easy . How is technology helping us for the future when we're given all the answers . No, we need to do better ."
