"I loved Ponte Vedra High. I had the best experience with some of the best teaching offered in the State. I was more than prepared for college and truly feel the teachers wanted us to succeed but still made the classes challenging for our own growth."

"I was a Hispanic at a school whose demographics entailed a 98% white student body. I was warmly welcomed into this school when I moved from Nicaragua 3 years ago, and I will always remember Ponte Vedra High School with a smile in the years ahead of me."

"Ponte Veda is a pretty good school all around. We have a lot of different clubs and a variety class offerings. However, the administration is very difficult to work with because there are so many kids and the staff is virtually impossible to get a hold of. Also, the cafeteria food is not great and the quality of education seems to mostly be a lottery based on what classes you sign up for. I would love to see a better administration, better teachers, and better lunches."

"Ponte Vedra High was overall a great experience as a student. Most of my teachers were friendly and decent instructors. I had a few absolutely incredible teachers, probably about 1-2 a year. Our sports teams consistently win and attend state-wide tournaments. Games tend to be a big event for students. However, I also recommend taking time to see PVHS's theatre productions. The theatre department is growing stronger and stronger each year, and is currently being taught/directed by an accredited (and possibly overqualified) director. All of PVHS's arts departments are stronger than most people give them credit for."

"Ponte Vedra High School is great. It's located in St. Johns County, which is the number 1 school district in Florida. The vast majority of students go on to college. The campus is located about 5 miles from the beach and is surrounded by a beautiful nature preserve. The school was built in 2008. It has an Advanced Scholars program, and academy programs in the areas of Biotechnology and International Business & Marketing. Ponte Vedra H.S. has 12 boys and 12 girls varsity sports programs. These include baseball, basketball, cross-country, diving, football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, golf, tennis, track, wrestling, and volleyball."
