"More than a lot of teachers are very fun and engaging with the lessons they teach. While there are a few teachers that are not so good, most of them are great."

"There are ups and downs of Sims Middle School. The ups include that the classes they provide are extremely good, the lessons get students involved in learning and the cafeteria at this school is quite spacious. The bad thing is there are not things the students, like me, can do after school. If Sims could provide a better way than a drama club to spend my afternoons, I would for sure do it. Another thing that needs to improve is the overall condition of the multi- purpose room. It has a lot of dust, and since multiple P.E activities happen in that room, that could become a health issue. But, other than those 2 issues, the school is good, and I like it here."

"I really enjoyed this school. The teachers overall were great, but some of them lacked in the key qualities I would want in a teacher. Key qualities would involve great knowledge of the subject they teach. Some of the teachers followed that perfectly while others tended to not enjoy their subject, leading to an incorrect teaching of the subject. Homework was not valued as it should at this school. Here in the south, extra curricular activities are valued and teachers want to be on the side of the pupils where they are more interested in activities rather than their education. Homework was lacking which I found extremely disappointing. But, the experience that came with this school was great. By ruling out the things I didn't like in my learning experience, I learned the techniques that I liked to help me study. Middle school is a place where no studying is needed because all the answers are given. It was a big shock to me when I realized how much I needed to study coming into High School although I had studied when I was in middle school as well. I studied in middle school, but studying was not strictly enforced. Studying was recommended but not a high priority."
