"the hallways are always crowded, people are always stepping on my feet, the administrators never understand me, they always point out the bad things and never the good, they're a lot of fights, the have no control over the students."

"In all reality Wekiva could be a great school if they learned to see students as mentoring adults who need guidance in life, they view most of us as cannibalistic beings due to the minor who cause mayhem and not a lot of time is made to support and talk to guidance."

"Wekiva was a pretty great school. What made it amazing was the teachers. They were interested in our futures, they truly cared... most of them, anyway. Some of those teachers were ran off by the administration's cruelty or fired, sadly The administration was strict. I once went to retrieve a water bottle I left in my previous chorus class, with permission from my teacher, I almost made it back to the hallway of my classroom when the bell ended signaling my "tardiness." The administrator asked me why I was late and told me to go get a late pass anyways. The other admin. in the building also asked me why I was late but she gave me an EXCUSED late pass. Therefore, if I were late two other times for "real" reasons , it wouldn't automatically send me to detention."

"I've been studying in Wekiva for almost 3 years, and for the most part it has been a pleasant experience. If you want to challenge yourself and find dedicated and committed students to work with, signing up for Honors/AP Classes is a must, and Wekiva offers a wide variety of AP courses, ranging from English, Science, Mathematics, Arts, Language, Social Studies, etc. Most of the teachers are nice, and they love what they teach and what they do at Wekiva. If there is criticism I may have as a student, it would be to the school food for the most part. I understand that the school makes food provided to them by OCPS, yet the food is for the most part unpleasant to even look at. But I can't complain too much, since I know this is not the school's own fault and that this year the food is completely free for everyone. Overall, the most important part of a school is learning and experiences with friends and colleagues, and Wekiva sure gets that done for the most part."

"My experience at Wekiva High School was overall fine in all aspects of the world. The teachers were caring, many different types of people. They organised colleges to come talk to the students which most really appreciated ."
