"Orange County Virtual School is truly amazing! I always found myself being forgotten in traditional classroom settings, especially so in courses where I needed the most guidance. All of my teachers genuinely cared about my success and made an effort to help me keep on track to graduate. The administration and guidance officers were all so kind and organized I am so happy to have graduated from Orange County Virtual!"

"The teachers are all very knowledgeable about their respective classes. The curriculum is pretty good, and the pace charts for most classes aren't too ridiculous. Like I said before, sometimes they quiz you on things that aren't in the lessons which is pretty bogus."

"It's great that the teachers keep you accountable to do your work, but the main reason I chose to do virtual school could be more flexible and I could work at my own pace- which isn't really possible with this program. You have to meet a pace chart every week, which is great but for me it kind of defeated the purpose of switching from traditional school. That being said, I much prefer to actually going to school because I can teach the material to myself and work ahead as much as I want. The one other thing that bothers me is that I feel that some of the quizzes in the AP courses quiz me on things that were not in the lessons, which is highly frustrating. Overall, I would still recommend it over traditional school."

"All of my teachers have been very understanding of my hectic schedule this year and have helped me when I have missed assignments. They have also consistently given me the tools I need to succeed in their classes, and they have always been friendly and approachable and have treated me like an intelligent person."

"The teachers are absolutely amazing. They truly care about their students and keep in contact to try to help students who are falling behind. The workload is very reasonable, average classes have a minimum of 2-3 assignments per week, while Honors classes are about 3-4 assignments per week. The teachers have links of their pace charts for students to print and follow; they also work with students to make personalized pace charts. Along with regular core classes, there are many other elective classes for students to choose from."
