"My experience at marathon high school was a bit tedious to say the least. The teachers are decent at this school and try their hardest to help the students, well most of them do I had some teachers who made no effort to help me in my hardest subjects. The school is very small only 400 in the highschool which makes it easy to see the same people every day. The electives are lacking considering they only have one foreign language: Spanish for only up to Spanish 2. They should add more electives for students such as home economics, cosmetology, Spanish 3&4, French/Italian Studies, and many more. The school tries it's hardest considering the staff is incompetent and my college counselor has no clue what she is doing in the office. The sports are fun to do but the coaches tend to show a certain bias and have favorites on the sports teams based on their likability of the student rather than athletic ability."

"I have been in Marathon High School for five years now, and i have liked the experience because it is a small school and it is easier to have resources and connections which facilitates aid towards a certain concern or thought. What i dislike about my school is that it doesn't offer effective methods of assimilating Hispanic/Latino students into learning the language, motivating them and applying it which is a huge part of their success , and since my school's demographic shows that a little more than fifty percent is hispanic/latino and many are seniors this year , but if they don't have the requirements and grades they unfortunately can't , so i believe a solution could be to help those students through counseling and motivation , because without a will or a spirit to get something done, there can't possibly be a way."

"This school is different for sure, 6-12 grade and we have less than 700 kids attending. Its nice though because you get personal attention from teachers and students you wouldn't get at a school of 2000."
