"Trips to Cumberland Island, Washington D.C., camping in the Florida keys. Walker is definitely a great experience. The student teacher ratio is small so more one on one time if needed. There's lots of hands on learning experiences. P.E is also a lot of fun, from floor hockey to lacrosse. There's a lot of religious opportunities too. Bible retreats and prayer conferences, Christian schools all across the nation meet up at camp kulaqua for a life changing spiritual experience. The music and arts program is outstanding. The teachers at walker are great they take their time with their students and actually love what they do. Here you can find your home away from home. The first week is honestly so much fun. All middle school and high school get together in the gym and we get to create teams, make team t-shirts, compete against each other, make cardboard boats we even get to test them out on the lake! I guarantee you Walker Memorial Academy will be an experience you will never forget."
