"Leesburg is always talked down upon but has a high student rate, that's because they make you comfortable regardless your ethnicity."

"Leesburg High School was interesting experience to say the least and I believe that it has shaped/prepared me for the "real world." The teachers that have taught me were some of the most educate and helpful people I have met and I am glad to have taken their class."

"Leesburg is okay with some things like having salad as a choice for lunch, but when it comes to students and being bullied, it doesnt get taken care of. I have filed a lot of complaints when myself or someone is being bullied but they aren't doing anything about it. Kids smoke pot on campus and they skip and nobody cares. It needs to be more strict so kids can go to there classes and so someone will get in trouble when they do something wrong."

"I m a former college professor who taught math here (1 class of AP Calculus AB, 1 class of College Readiness, and 3 classes of Liberal Arts) in Fall 2011. Surrounded by a talented team of teachers, my under-performing students were set up for failure. Squeezing 35 students in each Liberal Arts Math class does not improve your bottom 25% achievers, preserving C & D school grades. Common planning initiatives as a part of differentiated accountability didn t apply to me as nobody else taught my courses & I was only able to point out issues I was encountering to those who taught the levels between mine in hopes of preventing them next year. These problems I believe have been fixed since thanks to great teachers still there like Mrs. Jerkins. No open house, failure-expecting attitude by lower-level students, a lack of administrative support, and district trainers with unrealistic expectations; these are why I returned to higher education."

"My high school has amazing athletics, our basketball team won the state championship. I loved all of my teachers especially Mrs. Jerkins who received best teacher award for the state. I never ate the school lunch I always brought my lunch so I don't know how that went. They have many choices for electives such as chores, band, art, ceramics, P.E, ROTC, Dance, madrigals, and many more."
