"There were good course choices because it is a larger school for the area, however many classes were too large (too many students per teacher). You had to go off campus for some vocational programs."

"i like that the teachers will do whatever they need to do to help you with improving your grades and making you see that you can do the best you can just have to believe in yourself. i dislike how strict the dress code is."

"Oxford High School is great when considering some of the teacher. There are many who are phenomenal and then there are the teachers who cannot teach for there lesson plans do not work with students in this day an age. The high school's main focus is what the board office assigns and how fast they have to teach this material to the students which makes them forget that they are teacher children. Although, I took more honors classes where mine were fast pace and the test were harder. I do feel like I'm ready for college they class there do try to train you for the college curriculum. I do wish I could go back and get more involved in the school. The food is horrible. It is absolutely disgusting and the reason why so many students go hungry or they bring a lunch. Parents are involved when the student get them involved. So overall, great Academic wise in the higher up courses."

"I have attended this school since the 9th grade. The environment is very safe. Very strict rules. .such as dress and strict disciplinary rules. The school is Overcrowded and that creates a problem! But, on a scale one to five. I rate the school as a 4."

"This school is an amazing school when it comes to academics and sports, but when it comes to the safety of the students, I'm a little iffy. In the years I've been in the Oxford school system, one thing stands out the most. SPORTS. This school mainly only cares about sports. A student made a 36 on the ACT? No one cares. A student scores three touchdowns? The school is all over them and mentions it over the whole school, emails, everything. A student wins metals at an regional, state, and national competition? Oops, no one cares. When it's winter time and you're putting on your jacket right when you're walking outside, you get written up. When your phone accidentally falls in the floor, nope, you get written up. As I said, the academics are amazing, except they should made classes that involve bank accounts, and mortgages, and bills a mandatory class."
