"The teachers care greatly about student wellbeing and student futures;furthermore, the school gives ample opportunities to students looking to enrich their futures through ap and duel enrollment opportunities. There are some issues with elitism because the community is so tight knit."

"A great highschool (for being kind of in the middle of nowhere). This is the kind of school where there are some truly amazing teachers; teachers that care about getting you not only just college ready, but life ready. The main problem is the lack of funding here. If more money was put into the school, the students cared more, and the staff would try a little harder, this place would be a much better school."

"White County High School really left a great impact on me. The teachers and staff were very inspiring and caring. I didn't encounter one teacher that didn't care about my overall success. The administration are friendly and pro-active. They think on their toes and act on every situation fairly and equally. Principal, Grant Swallows, was a great man who cares about each and every student. I loved my four years at White County. I played softball for the high school and I was never treated any differently than the next student, just because I was an athlete. I believe the only thing White County could change would be updating the student life, such as lockers, bathrooms, desks, etc; which they have already started doing! I am very proud to be an alumni of White County."

"White County High School provides students with a safe learning environment for all students. If I could change anything, I would like to see a more electives offered to help students with their future careers. I do feel as though there is a transition being made to do better, but it is not something that all will benefit from at this point."

"White County High School isn't just your typical public school. The teachers here actually care about their students, and go above and beyond to help us reach and maintain our goals. Another great aspect about our school is the programs we are beginning to offer. It's starting off a little slow, but our school has begun offering AP classes, giving students more variety with their dual enrollment classes, and have even started a mechatronics program!! Now, one thing I wouldn't mind changing at our school would be the senior privileges. Some of us have jobs that we really need to either help provide for our families, or help save up for college. I really hope they fix it to where, if a senior is completely finished with a class, they should be able to leave if they have to work."
