"I liked that they prepared you for college. I did not like that New Albany High School was so focused on standardized testing. I feel like the school should highlight more vocational and job related courses."

"This school is a decent school but lacks in diversity and adjustment to accepting outsiders. Most teachers are ole miss graduates and that is not a problem because I like ole miss but it is obvious that the fan fare for that school creates a holy than thou attitude and it is reflected over into the forefront of the surrounding areas within the school and outside of the school. The teachers are pretty good to work with outside of the ole miss persona and I believe New Albany could be a great school but politics are rampant and that prevents what needs to happen. If you can send your kids to Oxford City or Lafayette County or Ingomar, or even Tupelo City, you would be much better off to do so and pay the out of pocket tuition. Trust me, you child will thank you when they graduate because they education they will get and also the programs they will be exposed to will far outweigh what they will get at New Albany!"

"I love this school; it has its good and bad moments, but, overall, everyone wants you to do your best. They're all rooting for you, and they try to give you the best tools that they can."
