"The books in the classrooms were falling apart and yet the football team managed to get a fancy bus to go to an out of town game. This school places more emphasis on sports than academics. Some of the teachers were great and actually wanted to teach. However some of the teachers showed favoritism towards certain students which showed up in grading. Overall it wasn't the worst time of my life."

"Really there is nothing I like except for the sports. What I like to see change is pretty muuch everything. I think if VHS had more money and know what to do with it. It could be one of the best schools inthe state."

"My experience with Vicksburg High School is great because it helped me achieve success throughout the years and I've changed each year. 9th grade was a great year because it was my first year of high school but I couldn't have gotten through it without my terrific teachers, they helped me until I got it. The school food isn't that bad but I can't eat it everyday. The school clubs and activities are great and the students really enjoy being in them from their dedication and commitment to it and how they approach i everyday."

"Vicksburg High School has been home to me for the last 4 years and I have been able to find the many diamonds in the rough. We have a select few teachers that genuinely care about the students and treat them like they are their own. The students are very intelligent, however, many live in bad environments. On top of that, our school's equipment and facilities are very outdated. I feel as if our school was more funded, Vicksburg High School would thrive."
