"I enjoyed the competitive nature of Henry Clay. Because of this, my peers were able to help push me to work harder. I'm also thankful for teachers that I could talk to when something bothered me. One thing at Henry Clay that could use improvement is school spirit."

"Lots of teacher is had really cared for students and passionate about their jobs. The administration handled most thinks well. The school is overcrowded which is an issue along with maintenance issues like heating and cooling. The school is very diverse which i like. I'm sure anyone could find a group or after school club to fit into. Glad I went to henry clay."

"Over population and AP classes are two factors that Henry Clay High School is known for. Henry Clay, as of 2017, had over three thousand students in its two story building. Instead of buckling under so many students, Henry Clay simple made room and created more classes. These weren't simple, general level classes though, Henry Clay has the most AP classes offered, and the most students taking AP classes in Kentucky. The ability to fill those classes with a variety of students is unique to Henry Clay due to its Equity in Advance Placement program. The EAP Program is a mentorship program where freshman students are paired with upper class men in AP classes. The mentorship promotes more freshman to not fear taking college level courses. Since its installment, there has been an increase in minority students attending AP classes, and the AP scores have gone up too."
