"John Glenn High School has a dedicated staff, but falls short in its enthusiasm for academics. Sure, JGHS likes to see its students do well, but JGHS favors athletes over academics. If you do well in school, that means very little to JGHS Administration unless you are one of the top ten or so students. The only other way for administration to notice you is to be a stellar athlete or participate in sports. I found the music programs to be better than average, yet sports is still favored over music programs. I enjoyed my time at JGHS, yet a clear bias could be seen among staff members. Advanced Placement classes were given little emphasis, and I used books that were more than ten years old in my Advanced Placement Calculus class. Communication among staff members and administration appears to be lacking, yet the staff makes up for that by performing well. I was not disappointed with the staff at JGHS, only the administrations clear bias towards athletes."

"The academics are above and beyond compared to other high schools. There have been problems with the faculty but nothing harsh or drastic. The community is loving and inspiring pushing the kids to further their education and other extra curricular activities such as music and sports."

"John Glenn is not the best High School For a student like me. John Glenn is mostly for students that are athletic, rather then students who want a good education, that are not as athletic as the others. However John Glenn has always done what is best for there athletes rather than for there hole student body."

"My past four years at John Glenn have been crazy and amazing. Starting off I was very nervous and just wanted to fit in. As I got older and more mature, I realized that it does't matter if you're the "prettiest" or "most well-known". What matters is that you surround yourself with amazing people. Luckily John Glenn made that easy for me. My mental state has grown immensely. I now know myself better than ever, and I'm capable of reaching all my academic goals. If I had to change one thing about John Glenn it would have to be handling situations better. Our administrators want whats best for us, but sometimes they just like to hear what they want to hear. Other than that, John Glenn has nothing but good intentions for every student."

"At John Glenn High School I took part in the band program for all four years. The support from the community for our program was second to none. I would love to see the band program in the high school continue to grow."
