"I loved the small class sizes because it made it easier to connect with peers and teachers. I felt well prepared for college in a larger city upon graduating due to the advanced placement courses and the teachers who oversaw them. The school has a difficult grading system and the teachers and faculty push students to try harder, do better, and make a good life for themselves upon graduating. Along with being a small school comes a lot of drama because everyone knows everyone's business. I knew of many bullying incidents while attending the high school that were not taken seriously because the head faculty of the district liked to play favorites. Keep in mind, drama is everywhere and it takes a village to fix those issues which I think the community of Rosemount and Rubyville are very capable of doing."

"No real life courses or education but they did force unnecessary math classes because thu get more funding for doing so"

"There are only a few teachers who really care about their students and who care about teaching. Those are the teachers who do not stay long at Clay High School. Many are there only for a pay check, to double dip on retirement and to put their time time in and they are not shy about expressing their intentions."

"The majority of the students at clay High School come from poor families. The families are not just poor financially but also in parenting skills. Students have little academic help at home. There is little desire to learn or do well when living on welfare the rest of their lives is the ultimate goal. The few that want to attend college and trying to learn are often overlooked by the teachers who are required to bring the low learners to a place where the can pass the required testing."
