"New Palestine High School is a great school where students are allowed to express themselves in many different areas of life. The teachers at New Pal are excellent and really care about the students and seeing their success. There are so many different opportunities at NPHS in the extracurricular department. The things I have been apart of the last 3 years {track, swimming, show choir} have been so flexible and understanding when there are conflicts and it has allowed me to do everything I love. There are some things about NPHS that I would change, such as the quality of food and facilities. I would change the expectations and requirements to get into some clubs such as the Honors Societies. I believe the students allowed in those societies need to be held to higher standards."

"This school is full of racist, homophobic, know-it-alls....for the most part. They try to "stop bullying", but when it happens, they do nothing to fix it. It's all a facade to make the school look better to the community. I have found my little niche though. It just took me four years to find it, and be confident."

"I love how the teachers are helpful for the most part when you need help. I would like to see change in how they help you bring your grades up especially if you are struggling throughout the semester. I would also like to see change in how they tutor you; give more information about tutoring sessions. I love how they have different ways you can study for tests and quizzes. I also love the faculty and staff for the most part and how they interact with students. I absolutely love the counselors and how they are there for you for academic purposes and if you are struggling to focus or stay on task to get your grades up. I also love how the counselors can let you vent if you are having some personal and outside of academics problems and they help you get back on task towards graduating instead of focusing on problems unless they just cannot be fixed."

"I moved to the New Palestine school district in the second grade and have been involved heavily in everything academic, sports and community based. New Palestine High School has had a strong impact on who I am today. My high school has always been proud to say they have strong academic achievement and sport achievement. New Palestine High School offers a very wide range of clubs and activities to involve all of the student body. However, despite having an outstanding staff and administrators bullying takes place at my school. Even though the administration and all of the staff tries to prevent it kids suffer everyday. Our school is making a drastic attempt to end the epidemic. I respect their efforts and have seen some what of an improvement. I love my school and I am very proud of my community."

"New Palestine High School gave me a well rounded education that I can be proud of. My diploma is one of my greatest achievements, and I feel as though I left my school ready to further my education. But while the academics were challenging and well put together, the judgemental atmosphere of a small community school was at times overwhelming. But overall, New Palestine High School was a 3 out of 5 with great courses, and a not-so-great student body."
