"I'm in mostly all AP/Honors classes and I have had mostly a good experience with all my teachers. Some teachers I have had were much better than others but for the most part I feel like I'm getting a quality education. I do hear that most of the non-honors class teachers aren't that dedicated and don't create a quality class environment."

"A big problem is the clubs, it's a popularity contest, so the children who would do the best job don't get voted in then the club doesn't run smoothly because the child who did get in doesn't want to do the work they just want the title. I also think they need to monitor the grades of athletes better, I don't a child with a D average should be able to play a sport, some have Fs."

"Highland Highschool is definitely not what you would call a diverse school. Highland is a small town and while it is very safe, I felt as a student there that there weren't many resources for me to help me succeed."

"It wasn't the worst, but it certainly wasn't the best. There are opportunities everywhere to excel, but a lot of the student body refuses to partake in them. Overall, it's a good school with great staff. Go Trojans!"

"After spending four years at Highland High School, it can be said that it is an experience I will never forget. The bonds between the students and teachers are stronger than any bonds I've ever experienced. Although the school's ranking isn't the highest in the region, the opportunities offered here are not to be underestimated. There are few select teachers that truly had the biggest impact on my success as a student, and I am forever grateful for them. The one thing Highland High School lacks is diversity and school culture. Neither of these is deemed important. Overall, this high school is a great public school and I hope to see it excel in the future."
