"What I liked about Morton High School is the Academy of Peforming Arts Program that they offer to any Hammond School students and now even available to anyone in Indiana. The Arts Program made my experience at Morton the best. I think if it wasn't for the program I wouldn't have enjoyed my high school years at Morton. There are other really good things about Morton that made my experience an unforgettable one, for example all the school events, clubs, sports that they had to offer. It made you want to be engagged in everything."

"The Math Department needs actual good math teachers. I don't want to graduate and not have the necessary math skill I might need later on life because the substitutes we have aren't teaching us anything, just giving book pages and having us do them in class and thats it. Other than that, the school is decent."

"I liked being a part of the Performing Arts program and believe that it plays a part in the overall success of the students that participate in it. I would like to see the non-performing arts students do better academically and I do think that some of the teachers could do better in helping that happen. I also believe that AP classes and Honors classes should be openly offered to qualifying students interested in college, and that the students eligible for these courses should not have to request to be put in these classes. By students having to request these more challenging courses, some might end up in classes that are not as rigorous or up to par with their level of knowledge, which is not fair to the capable student."

"The moment I stepped into Morton my freshman year I knew something about the atmosphere seemed, different. Different as in the students seemed to be in misery, and the faculty seemed uninterested in their jobs. Now, this is different for me because my middle school was fun and I had teachers who seemed to care about my education. I wish I can say the same about Morton, but I can't. In my 4 years of attending this school my final review would be that all the teachers here seem to care so little about the students education but that may because the students don't even care about their education. Morton is such a lenient school that these kids take advantage of new school rules and can care less about learning anything. The principal at least is a great principal and goes all out to try and make it a good school, but with these disrespectful smart mouthed teenagers at Morton, it's kinda hard for it to be good."
