"Central is one of your average high schools. Cafeteria food should definitely be changed, especially for future generations. More healthier food should be served, not have pizza almost every day. Also the school always reminded of prison, there's limited amount of windows, and I think more real day light would help the students. Otherwise I am glad I was able to go Elkhart Central, I made lots of new friends and unforgettable memories."

"Elkhart Central is a great place if you are an athlete; however, they give little to no recognition to those students involved in music and art programs. The majority of funding goes towards our football team, and the marching band only gets recognition for their percussion section. Many art teachers must use their own money to supply classrooms because Elkhart Central doesn't provide them with enough funding. This school would be a lot better if every student got equal opportunity and a chance to achieve great things in the area in which they are strongest."

"I am currently a junior at Elkhart Central High School. I am taking AP classes and play softball. This is a very diverse school where there's all different kinds of student and teacher. Even though school is stressful, we always find a way to have fun learning. If I could change something about my school it would be the safety, there are currently lots of threats and multiple incidents where weapons have been brought in."

"I am a student at elkhart central, I really like my teachers because they care about me and my grades. They make school fun so that I enjoy it more and don't get as bored. The food sucks that is something I don't like about central, it doesn't look appealing and if it doesn't look appealing you don't eat it."

"I like most of my teachers. They know what they are doing except for every once in a while there will be a teacher who does crap. It is a fun school, a lot to get involved into even though the main sports they focus on all suck."
