"I was the first graduating class of Washtenaw International High School, back in 2015. The four years I spent there were absolutely amazing. The faculty were some of the best teachers I ever had. They were encouraging, motivating, inspiring, and destine to make sure all of the students were prepared for college and it worked. I can walk into any college classroom and feel better prepared than any other student in the classroom because the techniques and tools my high school teachers had given me in order to succeed in college. And lastly, the students there were so opened to one another. I really believed when I graduated, I made a family because we always had each others backs, through thick and thin, and we always made sure somebody was taken care of. The school itself was home for successors, resilient leaders, and lovers of people."

"I guess that's what you get with younger teachers. Experienced, yet haughty... I have found some of the WiHi teachers to be a bit underwhelming when considering their personalities. Don't get me wrong. There are many personable teachers, but there are some who make me question my presence in the school. Also, diversity within the student population, does not equal diversity throughout the school... Every teacher is Caucasian! Just something to consider before stamping the word diversity everywhere. Overall WiHi is a great place to be, when the people who run it aren't trying to make it what it's not."

"My experience with WIHI was pretty good. I think overall the school is filled with extremely caring teachers who genuinely want to see us succeed and go out of their way to make sure that we do. If I were to state the best quality of the school it would definitely be the amazing teachers. As for the work load, I will admit that it is an extremely rigorous program that requires students to learn how to manage their time. However, alumni tell me that the work load we received at WIHI prepared them very well for the work load they received in college. The rigor of the program also helps when it comes to applying for college. Didn't give the full 5 stars because we don't have our own sports teams and the school is pretty small, and the classes that are offered are limited right now because the school is just starting out."

"Washtenaw International High School (WIHI) is the best school a parent could hope to send their student to. It all starts with the International Baccalaureate (or IB) program. The classes are much like AP, in that there is a harder rigor and more intense curriculum. However, IB courses are more often for favorable than AP courses, because they tend to prepare the student for college in a more accurate way. But what really makes WIHI so special is the community that has been fostered in the short time that the school has come to life. This graduating class will be the third graduating class of WIHI, meaning that the school has been open for 6 years. Yet in the short time that the program has started, WIHI has become a family of loving, caring students and teachers who honestly care about the academic outcome."
