"I have been going to Universal Academy for 9 years now. It was more than a school to me, it was a second home. I loved school and enjoyed being there. It was something I use to look forward to. I say use to because this was before they fired all our teachers and filled our school with a bunch of strangers."

"One thing i love about this school is that the teachers actually care so much for the students education."

"The curriculum is extremely poor. In order to make it in life outside of this school you must be self taught otherwise you are doomed for failure. There are no special study options, students have no choice of what classes they can take (because nothing other than what is assigned is offered), and no AP classes are offered."

"I would not choose to attend this school due to the fact that it has ultimately failed at its job to prepare students with the necessary education needed in order to continue a college career. The failure of this school to provide me with basic knowledge of math skills has forced me to take additional math college course classes to reach a college ready course. Considering I received an A in pre calculus during high school, entering a college level algebra class shouldn't be hard unless I was never fully educated with the proper information/material necessary in order to enter that course. Being self taught has allowed me to excel in many areas (except math) however I don't believe many other students will be granted such luck."

"Recently this school has seen a major downfall in ultimately educating the students enrolled in this school. The few teachers that were actually qualified to teach and did a good job at it were fired. This led to the hiring of many unqualified substitutes who were expected to fill the roles of said fired teachers. This not only affected the learning ability of students but ultimately hindered the the level of education that we were required to receive."
