"I attended Lapeer High School a few years ago and it was wonderful! All of the teachers are incredibly willing to help their students in whichever way they require. They are also motivating towards their students and remind them weekly that their dreams are not too far away for them. I cannot think of any idiosyncrasies that this school has to offer."

"I liked the layout of the school. Very easy to find where you were going. The building itself was a little small, even without the freshmen. It's because they combined schools a while ago, so it's understandable."

"Absolutely great environment for the small hometown high school experience. It was such a great experience going to schoo there but it was always a little clique-y."

"There are a wide variety of courses including AP and Dual enrollment. Teachers are willing to help struggling students and give advice during projects. There is a lot of diversity with clubs; sports, anime, book, NHS, Key, and many more. Overall the students are well behaved, we have our fair share of disruptions and troublemakers but there is no lasting damage and when it comes to crunch time during testing periods or group projects everyone pulls their own weight. I-Connect, our study hour, provides valuable time to do homework or do last minute studying for tests. One of the things I would like to see changed is that sometimes our worksheets seem like busywork- repetitive or unnecessarily complicated. Work like that can quickly pile up and take away time from school service and community service."
