"It is a very good school! They are a real community that helps you grow as a person. People always say that the teachers really care at such and such schools but they really do at Powers. I can honestly say that all the teachers I had during my time there where and are my friends."

"Powers Catholic High School is the best school in Genesee County. Whether it comes to making friends, being involved in extracurriculars, or just having fun, Powers has everything. With regard to the most important part of high school, academics, Powers has state-of-the-art technology backed by exceptional teachers. If you want your children to succeed, send them to Powers Catholic High School. The only thing that prevents a 5-star rating, is the lunch menu. It's good sometimes, but it needs improvement. However, if your child takes his own lunch, that makes it a 5-star school!"

"Excellent school for all. The teachers are help and provide detailed course curriculum. The school raises students to be moral, prepared, and courteous."

"Because it is a private school, donations are important to the continuance of the school. It seems there is a network of families that have the most influence. The guidance office has been of little help to our family throughout the four years. In fact, our son's senior class schedule is very different than he had planned it with the guidance counselor last spring. We are disappointed with the school in that area. Sports and academics are both important to the students. Football is the most important sport to most parents and staff. Little money is allocated to sports outside of football."

"I loved the family aspect that Powers gave you. Because it was a smaller private school you were granted opportunities that wouldn't have came at a public place. Although it does cost money to attend, the school is very understanding and works with low income familys to ensure that every student has a chance to attend the school."
