"Northwest overall has a great amount of positive energy around the school. Each and every day the administrators and staff help you with what you seek assistance on. The adults and even other students push you to your potential. Not only that, but the school has have a variety of AP classes for students as they exceed in grades."

"I just moved to Michigan from North Carolina in my senior year, and it was definitely a hard transition. From the culture to school standards I really needed an institution who would take the time to work with me. Northwest was the only school in the county willing to go through the curriculum from the classes I had taken in North Carolina and attempt to match them to classes here to transfer my credits. Without this school, I wouldn't be graduating this year."

"I think Northwest High School is a great school, but as most schools do, they support sports more than the arts. It's not the school doesn't support fine arts, they do, but not as much as they do sports. They do still support the arts, especially where more students are involved. I think the lack of support comes from the fact that classes like Journalism and Broadcast are lesser known that classes or activities like football and choir. I don't think enough people are involved for the support to exist. But be that as it may, Northwest overall is fairly good school. The counselors are very helpful with preparing students for college or helping students figure out another path, like a trade school. The faculty are all kind to the students and very helpful. Most teachers go out of their way to make sure students have the help they need. Northwest was a great high school, and I'm glad I'm graduating from there."

"The teachers at Northwest obviously love what they do which is what I believe to be the number one reason why Northwest is the best school in the state. I have been to at least three different schools and I have only felt safe and at home at Northwest. I feel that each and every teacher has a passion for what they do and it definitely shows."

"Northwest has come so far in the past 4 years. The teachers are incredible, the school is great, and the classes are usually pretty fun. Some kids aren't the greatest, but there's not much you can do about that. 10/10 though"
