"I have enjoyed my experience at Grand River Prep so far in terms of the academics and college readiness since it is a college prep school. My main complaint with my education at Grand River Prep is the high staff turnover."

"The teachers are great for the most part, but the rules are a bit over the top. For example there was a rule where your socks had to be the same color and either blue, white or black other wise you get detention. That was when I was a junior so about 4 years ago , I am not sure how they have changed since I've been gone. Every year more and more teachers would leave though. So now I only know 2 teachers of mine through out my whole high school experience that still work there."

"I loved how the teachers and staff made you feel more like family rather than treating you like just another student. They have a good number of AP courses to choose from and the regular curriculum is more challenging and stimulating than other public high schools. They also require you to complete 60 hours of community service by the time graduation comes around which allows students to get involved with their community in a safe environment. I would definitely send my kids there if I had any!"

"What I enjoy most about grand River prep is how many people choose to be involved in multiple activities not just extracurricular. People really enjoy learning and the teachers do the best they possibly can by using different methods from tutoring to extra homework in order to make sure the student is successful and college ready."
