"Overall I would rate the school as average. The school is a nice building for the students to be in but when it comes down to the food and the classes they aren't the best. Theres some teachers that don't really do a very good job with helping students that are struggling and then theres some that do. The food is usually the same thing over and over and its gross"

"Some of the teachers aren't that great. But it's overall a good school. The students are really great and the school offers many classes to choose from. It's also nice that the students all receive a MacBook Air in order to do all their work online making the school basically paper free."

"My time at Manistee High School was some of the best and some of the worst. While I enjoyed being challenged academically, athletically, and socially, the school did little to prepare its students for the real world. The administration worked off of a popularity contest based system where despite being gifted in anyway many students were overshadowed by those who were well known in the community. The small town politics ran many of the scholarship, awards, and opportunities that were offered to students. While I valued my time spent in upper level classes, teachers created a divide with the student body."

"Manistee Middle / High School is the picture of the future in education. Every student receives an Apple MacBook to do all their assignments on, students rely greatly on the computers to further their education in the class. Some things that could be changed is when their are events at the school should be better organized and planned."

"Manistee High School is overall a very great school. The class sizes are about medium size. This allows students to be able to get to know the teachers. The students are able to get one on one help if needed with there teachers also. For the most part all the teachers are caring and care about there students and how successful they are. The school is ran very well, and is very clean and is a good environment to learn. The only thing that I think needs a little work would be the food. The food isn't always the best. Furthermore, Manistee High School is a great school for its students."
