"I moved into this school district during 4th grade. I came from a medium sized school in Texas, to a small majority white school in the U.P. The education sometimes seems to be lacking and some teachers don't seem to fully understand what their teaching which has led to many kids suffering in those classes. I get the feeling that's not very uncommon though and the lack of modernization of textbooks surely doesn't help. The best thing about my school is in part due to it being school of choice it has the most local diversity of any of the high schools, and the people are all fairly kind. If you look for it you can get help on most work whether it be from the study hub or just someone in your class. There's a sense of unity within the student body."
