"My experience at Heritage Christian Schools was great. I am finishing out my senior year very strong, but I know that I couldn't do it without the help of my teachers. They have taught me so much, not just academically, but also mentally. They have shown me how to male the best out of each and every opportunity. THeir academics are great, and the sports, and all of the other resources and activities are great as well. However, the only thing that I would change would have to be the diversity of the school. The school is somewhat diverse, but I wish that they would have more minorities in the school, so that everyone feels comfortable. But other that that, I wouldn't change a thing about Heritage Christian SChools, and if I had a chance to, I would attend the same school all over again."

"Leadership poor. For ex, since becoming choice school, many students have strong learning needs, but the school does not have the resources/manpower to help these students. Administration ignores issues like this & others. All students suffer & academics are dumbed down. Administration is untrustworty & financial disclosure is minimal. Many teachers have left because they are overworked & way underpaid. High turnover means new teachers have a learning curve of 3 years to get to effectiveness, but often they leave before this . It's a constant cycle and students suffer. Parents are asked to financially provide finances for teachers/school and fill jobs voluntarily. Poor facilities at elementary. Students are seen as $, not valued individually. Increasing behavior issues not addressed. Christian environment has decreased with lax dress code policies for students/staff, character issues, & laid back staff who are pressured to just pass kids along to keep families coming back ($$)."

"Heritage is a good school for kids who seek privacy and closeness between students and kids. Students enjoy the family-like nature of the school. However, it lacks in programs and other resources. Several students would have enjoyed a psychology course and some new technologies like CAD."

"It's a very tight knit community where everyone knows everyone else, which is nice if you like that kind of environment. Teachers have a desire for you to learn through a Chrisitian worldview, but it would be better if our technology was more advanced and we had better extracurriculars."

"Most teachers work hard to ensure that you understand and are learning from the material with what little technological advancements they have."
