"My education at SPCPA was fulfilling both artistically and academically. I have been successful in my post-secondary studies thanks to SPCPA's culture of encouraging personal responsibility - the environment fosters students to take pride in their work and learn from the process. There is emphasis on crafting yourself into a well-rounded and passionate person through our studies, outside of simply doing a subject for a grade. Students are given many opportunities for academic and emotional support (if they choose to utilize them) and my parents were pleased with the regular communication provided to families. Though there are limited extracurricular activities (yearbook, student council), the school makes known many outside opportunities through connections from its staff and other students. I was able to participate in activities with students from other schools and professional artists and it was a great networking tool."

"The school is a great pre-conservatory experience for anyone interested in the preforming arts. If you just want to lean more thats fine too!"

"Teachers at this school in the Academic department almost never stay for a long period of time. There's only one academic teacher who has been there since my freshman year and they are leaving next year. Also, almost all of the academic teachers that they hire are straight out of college or have been laid off by various other schools for not being good teachers. There are a few really great teachers there who like teaching there because they like the arts environment such as, Mr. Dymond, Mr. Haug, and Ms. Johnson. This school has a bad administration which is why almost all the academic teachers leave. There are some really wonderful people who work there though like, almost all of the arts teachers, Nancy, Ms. Green, and Michelle."

"This was an incredible conservatory experience that allowed me to collaborate with others like me in addition to professionals. SPCPA shaped my individuality and gave me a voice with which I went out into the world to speak."
