"NKHS is a school in a small community, so it helped me have a very social high school experience. The staff is undoubtedly one of the best schooling staffs in Minnesota. They helped make my high school experience an easy and transitionable one. Because it is a small school, there is not a lot of opportunities for extracurricular activities and clubs. I think with student feedback, that problem could be fixed. Clubs are an important part of a student's schooling experience because it creates friendships and establishes personalities. The academic integrity could be improved, but the school offers a limited amount of college level classes. I believe that NKHS did the most for my education that they could with the resources available."

"I would like to see more opportunities for students in the future. Not only in academics but extra curricular activities also. I did like the atmosphere of the small school. You get know everybody."

"One thing that I was very grateful for at this school was the availability of extra-curricular activities. Because the student body wasn't very large, it was possible for most students to be involved in a sport or extra-curricular group if they really wanted to be. This gave me opportunities that I may not have had if I attended a larger high school. However, because it was such a small school, there was not much funding, which made the education standards lower than larger, more affluent schools. If I had to attend high school again, I would say this school was nice for it's location and potential for athletics/extra-curricular involvement, but attending a school with more up-to-date class curricula would have been more beneficial in the long term."

"The teachers are amazing and super nice. They know what they are talking about and they work on their communication skills with us and really help us out if we are struggling with anything from school to home. I like this school vs my older schools. Everything here seems to be more advanced vs"
