"Overall, it has been a great experience after 4 years of being a student here. The environment is great and the faculty truly wants the best for you. There are however some teachers that should not be here due to them not being able to create a learning environment that the students enjoy. The clubs and activities here are plentiful and you can truly find something that you have a passion for here at this high school."

"My counselor and the teachers that I had all four years at West Chicago High School were very helpful and supportive. I feel that I am well prepared for college."

"My overall experience with CHS was decent. I had amazing teachers, mostly, at CHS. My favorite teachers showed so much effort in teaching their subjects that I was engaged the whole class period, every day. The teachers and staff are very passionate about their work and make time in order to help students. However, I would say that this school needs more diversity. There were really only two ethnicities that were dominant when I was a student there a year ago; the vast majority of CHS is either white or Hispanic. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn't a good thing either. If a white student is only exposed to a majority of Hispanic peers, they won't be able to explore more ethnicities and become more aware of different cultures and vice versa. I would say that my experience at CHS was a typical high school experience, with the exception of my two favorite teachers who were anything but typical."

"The main thing this school is known for is it's diversity of culture. While being a student there for four years, I had the opportunity of being exposed to diversity each and every day. The name describes it perfectly, Community High School. It is known for having an abundant of cultures and races. This school is unique because it embraces the different number of cultures and races to break barriers and create an environment of students and staff working together everyday no matter where you come from."

"During my time at the high school it was a normal experience, there were many options and opportunities available. Since 2011 when I graduated the school is declining in a few areas."
