"The school was pretty good. most of my teachers were actively involved in making the school a great learning environment. Staff was always easy to talk to and everyone seemed genuinely interested in the student's well being."

"while the school is huge and is too much to take in freshman year, the students at sandburg do help guide you to your classes if you need any help and the teachers do cae about their students unlike other schools"

"Going to Carl Sandburg was a great experience. The academics I learned throughout my 4 years got me prepared for college."

"I attended Carl Sandburg High School for three years (freshman to junior year). In my opinion I liked the classes the school was offering, there were many honors and AP class options. Teachers were very kind, offered their help to their students meaning they really cared about their students education. Beyond the teachers and the classes, the environment is very safe and friendly. Students got along with their peers, when I would walk through the hallway I would hear many of my peers saying hi to one another. Everyone accepted each other no matter their ethnicity or culture, there were no sign of bullying or that I've been informed of. Overall, my three years at the school was very worth while I really liked it and I recommend upcoming freshman to attend the school."

"If you go to Sandburg, people think that you're rich, because Sandburg is a big school. A few people think Sandburg is a mini society or a college. The bosco sticks are usually pretty good. What I want to change is how fast people walk in the hallways. If you have from the South building to North building in seven minutes with people are walking slow, you would want to push them out of the way but you don't and you could get a trady if your teacher sees you walking in a second after the bell."
