"I like the smallness of the school. Overall, I think that in most of the classes, we are not challenged enough. The teachers are decent and the building is very out of date so we do not have different opportunities to take some of the AP classes."

"Overall, my reviews are mixed. The best part about Newark is the teachers. They are all so kind, honest, and helpful. My biggest complaint would be the lack of diversity and the lack of academic challenges. All we have is 3 AP classes. I feel like I'm not being challenged or prepared for college."

"My first two years at this school were the worst years of my life. I had no friends and nobody by my side. I felt as if I was completely alone, however, it got better. I made new friends and became very close with the teachers after they heard about everything i've been through and allowed me to vent to them. I don't really want to see anything change here other than the fact that the teachers should continue to be close to their students."
