"Teachers are not supportive of students, they are supportive of students GPA's but have no care for how well they achieve as people and do not care about their mental health and well being, even though they say they do."

"Overall the school provided a wide variety of courses, and stayed up-to-date on technology and material. The school was very diverse, and offered many extra-curricular opportunities. They also partner with TCD in Addison, which provides hands-on learning opportunities in several different fields. However, the climate of the school is incredibly competitive. Also, the school district is terrible about repairing damages to the schools until they become decrepit, at which point they throw as much money as possible into remodeling the entire school."

"I've heard stories about bad teachers but I personally have never had a bad teacher at North. Every teacher I've had was passionate about their specific subject and knew what they were talking about. It's easy to get the help you need from teachers and a student-taught tutor program during the lunch periods, so when I was having trouble with a class I knew where to go. The people are pretty cliquey but generally very friendly and fun beyond their groups. There are clubs for almost everything you could possibly think of, including a Harry Potter club and a Pok mon club (so yeah, almost everything) and also ethnicity-based clubs such as Black Student Leader Association which is very popular. However, as far as food goes, I would like to see healthier, tastier and overall just more food options, as I am a vegetarian and didn't have much variation between cheese pizza, PB&J, and nachos."

"I liked the teachers at Naperville North such as Mr.Dengel but the students could be too competitive at times driving students who didn't see themselves as smart to get into drugs or other bad habits as a result of feeling like a failure. I knew a lot of students that developed drug addictions to adderall or xanax and even some who did heroin. Its very easy to fall down the rabbit hole and go down the wrong path if you don't try hard enough to keep your head above water. And by above water i mean you need at least a 3.5 to be considered slightly smart."

"Social sciences are generally well taught, but there's a lot of pressure on students to be perfect, athletic, and Christian (the "popular" kids fit this profile to a T.) STEM class teaching was not on par with social sciences (but the teachers I had may have been consistently having a bad day/year.)"
