"My experience being part of the UNO Charter Schools Network was good. They have uniforms to get us, the students, ready for our bright futures. Their academic goals and rules got me on the right track throughout High School."

"Uno has honestly pushed my abilities to a highter extent where I have not seen in many other schools. Ive been in a chicago public school system and it cant be compared to UNO . Unos expectations are way highter and has made me a better student."

"The academic courses are strong but have little choice and aren't all too challenging for higher level students. The teaching gets to give more of a personal environment. The student body is small and often chaotic. The uniforms are uncomfortable. The school is also fairly young. I am speaking from the high school's stand point. I do not know of the middle or elementary school's situation."

"The things I really liked about being part of an UNO Network Elementary Charter school were that they are really small schools and they make you become a really hard working and successful student. Our teachers want and expect the best for us and are always with us for anything we might need. I really like that it is a small school and that teachers always help them complete whatever students struggle in the most in order to help them succeed. Something I believe that should change is the amount of teachers in our school. We keep on loosing teachers and that is making our schools more weak. We need the help in our schools. We need a lot of help with kids that might need the special needs and more work with learning new languages that might become more beneficial to them whenever they get older and even counselors to help guide students to go to any colleges of high schools."

"UNO elementary has many opportunities for children to explore different cities like New York. My nephew and niece were able to fund raise though UNO elementary to provide enough money for a trip to New York. It is very rare to see an elementary school taking kids to another city. Also, being that many children from UNO school are minorities, it is nice to see them go to another city where most likely they would not have gone otherwise."
