"I re wrote this so many times because, I keep going way over 1000 characters. Simple as this your better off at lake view. Admisntration does not care about high school, just elementary. Elementary kids are sometimes nice, mostly bully each other, do mean stuff that they're teachers don't correct them on. Majority elementary teachers talk bad about high school teachers and students. Teachers like ms Roberts and me O'Neil, don't teach, refuse to grade assignments, lie to get numerous kids in trouble, pick favorites. Ms. Mocarski, good teacher, mean person more concerned about what color shoe were wearing or if we had our student id or she'll do what she's known for, writing detention. Four years here, felt like middle school, no high school stuff or advantages, barely one sports team. No students really involved because all those students transferred out. better off getting a better and nicer high school experience in a south side cps school to be honest."

"I love attending St. Benedict Prep because I have been able to play sports-- volleyball, basketball and softball. I have been able to share my skills and knowledge of sports by participating in 3 Point Athletics sports camp held at the school. The school offers an Agora class that has enabled me to travel to Italy, Canada, and help with Habitat for Humanity. I have been able to volunteer over 100 hrs per year by being on the National Honors Society. I have had many excellent teachers that have taught me many things and I will be forever grateful."

"They provided a generous scholarship, but I asked a teacher sophomore year for help with an essay and she told me to turn it in. Due to it being so small, there is a lack of AP and honors classes available. This really draws students away because they want a quality education, but they teach us about character which is a positive. They also pour most of the money into the pre-school through 5th grade building, and there's a lack of care for the high school side. They neglect the high school side, so it's run down and old."

"What I enjoy most about St. Benedict Preparatory High School is the diversity. I came from a predominantly white grammar school and was never exposed to other cultures. St Benedict's has opened my eyes to many other cultures both from first hand experiences and from international club. Now attending St. Benedict's some of my closest friends come from many other countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Congo, South Korea, and China. Without coming to St. Benedict's I am not sure if I would have ever been exposed to all these different types of people and I am extremely grateful for that"

"There is better out there. It is a very diverse school with great academics and teachers. The middle school and elementary school are great, but the high school is not. There are few resources for the high school compared to the other schools. The students are nice and very involved in extra-curriculars."
