"I love the small feel. I love that the student-to-teacher ratio is so low because it allows students and teachers to bond. I love the small grade sizes because I know everyone in my senior class, and we are al close; all 38 of us."

"The diversity of this small school allowed me to branch out and reach my greatest potential as a student and an overall woman in general. Although I did not always enjoy my time spent there with the other students, I am thankful for my experiences and would choose the same path for me again."

"There are a variety of subjects taught at WHS and multiple classes to most subjects. The school is good at placing those who need extra help in the right class and those who are advanced in the right class. I rarely experienced a workload that I couldn't tolerate. The teachers are very understanding, yet firm in their instructions and discipline. The scheduling process can get hectic but changes can be made within a reasonable amount of time."

"I grew up at this school. I have close relationships with my teachers and I found a great group of friends. I feel a great sense of school spirit and pride when it comes to my school. I love the small size and the closeness of the community. We are the Wethersfield family. My mom has taught at Wethersfield Elementary for nearly 40 years and many faculty and staff have known me my whole life. I know many alumni from WHS and quite a few are still in the area or have moved back since college. Many alumni have children attending WHS. Despite not being athletic, I love attending sports games and I often worked the track meets with my mom even after my brother (a high jumper) graduated. My mom and I still help out with band and music booster events despite the fact that I have graduated. Many of my moms former students are still there and she does it for them as well."

"I grew up in this school and I developed close relationships with my teachers and administrators. I am hearing impaired, but I didn't need any formal accommodations in high school because I felt secure enough to go directly to my teachers with any problems I had. They were understanding, respectful of my disability, and helpful. I found a great group of friends to hang out with and I experienced almost no bullying. Teachers and administrators do not tolerate bullying or disrespectful behavior, and it is dealt with promptly and appropriately. I learned a lot at WHS and I felt prepared when I entered college. There are quite a few electives to choose from on a variety of subject matters. It's a small school and this often leads to close friendships. I knew every person in my graduating class, most I had grown up with and gone to school with for the past 13 years. I love my school and I want others to see its greatness too."
