"Windsor Jr./Sr High School is a great school for a small town. The staff is all very friendly and does an excellent job educating the students. Although Windsor High School could do a better job of informing students on college and scholarships earlier in the year."

"I'll be honest. As far as education, the school does a fine job by teaching you the classes you need for college (plus dual-credit), with overall helpful and friendly teachers. The basketball and baseball teams are okay, but nothing too extreme. But that's about it when it comes to Windsor being efficient at anything. As soon as you enter the high school in the morning, you'll usually hear loud, obnoxious trucks from a few boys who think they're hot stuff because they drive daddy's car. Truthfully, it's pathetic, and their vehicles sound to the equivalent of a dying bull being slowly dragged along the rocky pavement. The other students before 1st hour either stay in the "old" gym with their friends, or go straight to their 1st hour class, which is harmless. Although, be prepared to walk to your first class and be stared down by some of the staff (it's painfully awkward and uncomfortable). In between classes, you'll either walk the halls and hear inappropriate comments from students, or just see tired, miserable people; there's no inbetween. Lunch for the students is a big issue, as majority of the students dread eating processed food, or just don't particularly like the menu choice for that day. Lunch has gotten to the point where even teachers complain and make comments how disgusting the food is. After lunch, most students go for the "old" gym for a recess like period that lasts about twenty minutes or so. There, you'll see the typical high school groups all together: the hopeless romantics, the "we're dating in high school, so we're in love forever" types, the jocks, the "mean girls," the outcasts, and the rootin' tootin' country guys and gals. During this period, a great number of the students attempt to play what is basketball, but instead make non-human like noises and miss the net completely, which somewhat reflects what is the WSS basketball team. Oh yeah, the school co-oped just this year, and now the mascot is an actual hatchet. A hatchet. Why."

"Overall, majority of the teachers and faculty do a tremendous job on teaching students at Windsor the required studies needed to graduate. Not only does most of the staff enjoy what they teach on a daily basis, but they also do their best to make the class enjoyable for the students as well. With that being said, there are few issues surrounding the teachers at this school. Over recent years (specifically the last three to four years), there has been a wave of either staff/teachers being cut off or teachers leaving on their own will. In this case, it affects the school's head staff, since they have to rush and hire new teachers for the following school year; but this situation also impacts the students, especially if they have had multiple classes with said teacher. Another problem with only a few teachers, (not all) is lack of variety in the classroom. As mentioned above, most teachers try their best by making the class somewhat engaging with students, but that may not be the solution for a couple. In particular, the few teachers follow the same routine day-to-day, week to week, whether it's watching numerous amounts of films or handing out assignments almost every day. By all means, this style of teaching gives students the wrong impression about the class and teacher. And, yes, school isn't exactly meant to be the most laid back environment, yet every once in awhile, it wouldn't hurt for some of these teachers to mix up (change up) their classes, whilst still being educational for the students. The final matter surrounding Windsor's staff are their actions. Once again this doesn't apply for all teachers in the building, but there are definitely a select few who have participated in unfortunate choices. As an upcoming 2016 graduate of WHS I can say that I will leave with a more positive outlook than negative. But, for the current and future students of Windsor, I hope they receive the learning experience they deserve by the teachers."

"This school is always here to help you succeed. The education program is excellent and the teachers are friendly and down to earth. However, there needs to be more class choices and more semester classes."
